Danika, like her ghul'a sister, can take any humanoid form she wishes, but the one she prefers most is that of a pale goth woman, with many piercings, black polish, and sharpened teeth. Her hair cascades down, purple naturally, and is often wrapped up in practical but messy ways. Her eyes are offputtingly serpent-like often, a willing affectation she puts on for her own amusement at others' discomfort. She constantly radiates a smell like either a strange, fruity smoke from her habit or some strong, particularly bitter perfume she keeps on her person at all times.
Her most striking feature is what she cannot change about herself, that her legs below the knee permanently resemble the legs of a predatory cat, with grey, striped fur, which she keeps hidden under clothing. This marks both her and her sister for a ghul heritage, distrusted in many parts of the world for the claims they eat the dead or lost travellers between cities and in their women, ghul'a, for their innate knowledge of black magic and the power to seduce the weak-minded from their journeys. She and her sister have taken up miming, where she wills herself to have raven-black short curls and black hearts painted on her cheeks over her ivory white face.
Danika is a brash, often dismissive person with little regard for others. She finds her humor at others' discomfort. Her sister is the brainier one, though she has knowledge of black magic as well. She enjoys her hobbies, her style, and her sister's company despite all objections, and will rope others into their escapades with no regard for how they come out. She smokes but gains little from it beyond its irritation to others.
