- Standing at a diminutive 5'1"/155cm, Aisling (pronounced ASH-lin) carries herself with a regal pride and grace befitting a (former) princess. Her short, platinum-blonde hair always seems immaculately styled, her ice-blue eyes sometimes seem to glimmer with other colors, and her ears curve slightly into neat points at the ends. The pale, almost porcelain look of her skin combined with her height makes her look something like a living doll, adding to the feeling of inhuman elegance she exudes. Then there's the matter of her thick, slightly curved, almost claw-like nails. And while her smiles seldom show teeth, it's not hard to glimpse the pronounced fangs she possesses while she talks, giving the largest hint yet as to her nature.

- Extended Description/Backstory
- For most of her life, Aisling was a princess, born and raised to rule in a land where all nobility was vampire clans constantly scheming to claim the throne for themselves. Her father's reign of almost 200 years was the longest in their country's history, and he was careful to pass all his knowledge down to his third, most politically promising child...
...only to have it all ripped away. When another house grew desperate enough for power, they did something immensely stupid: they escorted a foreign army through their lands to attack the royal capital outright. Coups and assassinations were one thing, but always these affairs were internal, and always the castle stood no matter who sat upon the throne. But when Aisling fled on the night of the assault, she looked back to see her home of over a hundred years burning and beginning to collapse.
Separated from her servants by a strange mist, Aisling found herself in a totally unfamiliar land, completely alone. Before she could even try to establish herself there, she found herself transported to yet another unfamiliar place: an island that had no night and no buildings. Trapped there for over two years, she at least found friends (and more) to lean on... but two years without night, with no moon, and constantly fearing the sun at every time of day took its toll.
The moment she heard of a new world, she practically leapt at the chance to escape to it. Now, no longer stuck in Survival Mode and finally able to relax, Aisling gets to hopefully enjoy the upturn in her luck with those she cares about... and maybe finally process the trauma of her recent past.

There are a few key points to know about Aisling:
- She's less entitled than you might think. Taught to rule subjects through love more than fear, Aisling is much better at getting what she wants with smiles and persuasion rather than demands and threats.
- Though small and physically unimposing, she *can* put on bursts of strength or speed for short times. The more blood she drinks, the more she can use these powers, but usually she operates at "fasting" levels and so doesn't use them often.
- All her real power is in her eyes. What effects she can use depend on the color her eyes glow, able to induce things such as obedience, paralysis/body control, pleasure, pain, and more with just a look. She doesn't even need eye contact for it, though it does make it far more potent: as long as she can see someone and they have a brain, her eyes work. What's more, she's immune to most anything of the same type, so attempts to mesmerize her visually aren't going to land.
- "Situational" sex interest is because she doesn't generally care about, nor try to get into, people's pants. By a similar token, her own genitals are largely off-limits. She *does* enjoy giving HFOs though~ And I may also run a little "event" at some point that changes things for a time... <_<
And of course, being a vampire, expect to get bitten if she's playing with you~ (Though there can always be exceptions by player or character request, if that's not wanted!)

For those who don't know me, I'm in my late 30s, AuDHD, an aspiring writer, and a big ol' geek. I'm also a builder, coder, and tailor for the MUSH! The main things I work on are the website and webclient, so I'm the person to go to if you have any issues with either of those (though ideally you should put them in the bug-report forum on the Discord server).
As a MUSH player, I tend to lean towards more involved character development and ongoing storylines. My characters pretty much always have something going on beneath the surface, and I *love* when people pick up on the hints I drop and dig into things~ This does mean my focus is less on kinky scenes, but I do plenty of those, too! I just tend to prefer scenes with people who have been getting involved with my characters beyond what those characters can do kink-wise.
On domming vs subbing: I'm generally more willing to dom new people than sub at this point, mainly because I have too much love and pride invested in my characters to subject them to things I would otherwise enjoy. I need to know that my *character* would be okay with it before I can let myself put them in that position, even with CNC things. This means I generally only sub on specific characters, in specific situations, and/or to people I already know fairly well, and even then I have to vibe with the dom's gimmick. It all comes down to feelings about individual situations in the end, sooo... ask? Worst I'll tell you is "no thanks" <3
When it comes to OOC hypnosis, I'm even more reserved: I'll tease plenty, and sometimes it's fun to act subby, but these days I don't really engage with it unless it's an established dynamic or a particularly close friend. This goes for domming *or* subbing. I'm here for the RP, so let's try to keep things in-character, 'kay~? ^_^
