- Between the black sclera, the swirling, rainbow irises, the too-smooth pink 'hair' with its flowing rainbow undertones, the crown-like spines protruding from their head, and the totally unblemished, faintly-luminescent skin, one can tell at first glance 'Riot' is uncannily inhuman. So hopefully it's less of a surprise to see the overly-sharp teeth in their smile or the inky void of their mouth, to hear the strange echoing chorus of their voice, or to catch glimpses of the eyes that often open within their hair or skin and look around only to vanish again when they close. Aside from that laundry list of strangeness, their form is otherwise humanoid enough: a curvy feminine shape with a sizable chest, butt, and hips standing about 6'3"/190.5cm, a two arms and legs in fairly standard proportions, a long-but-not-too-long neck, a correctly-arranged face with a cute button nose... there might be plenty of giveaways, but they're definitely trying to fit in.

Their light and color stood out. Made them vulnerable. A target.
Prey.
Cold.
Always so Cold.
But they were warm. And that drew more as well.
They'd learned to adapt. Use the lures. Become the predator. Flee when outmatched.
But now...
...this wasn't Dark. Or Cold.
It was...
...what was it, to be something other than those? What was it to be... like them?
The creature is reaching, but not advancing.
Beckoning.
A lure? Like them?
...like them...
They didn't sense danger. No hunger, no hostility. Just...
...peace.
They reached out a part of themselves. Touched a tendril to this... thing.
Slowly, carefully, it took the tendril, and pulled it towards its center...
...its core. Dark. Cold. Like where they had been. Like... like *their* core.
"...friend."
Knowledge burst through them, like wildfire spreading in dry grass.
...fire? Grass? These were new words. New ideas.
"...friend?"
It was watching them. Expecting. Hoping.
Their form wobbled. Shifted. Forming a new shape on their surface... a... mouth?
"Friend. We would. Be friend."
Joy. Happiness. A 'smile' on its 'face'.
So much to learn from it. So much to share through the Void's connection. So many new things... new... places?
"I can take you, if you want."
...leaving. Leaving the Void. Somewhere far less Dark, less Cold. Somewhere... 'Bright'. 'Warm'.
They did want. They wanted to leave so very much. To see more Bright and Warm.
"Would you like more friends, too?"
They would. 'Friends'... friends seemed wonderful. More friends. More Warmth. More...

'Riot' is a weird one. They're actually a colony of individually sapient microorganisms, acting as a single hivemind. Each cell is a creature, working and thinking in tandem with the others. None of their roles are fixed: Riot's whole body can see, hear, feel, taste, think, and whatever else in just about any place, if they choose it. They're also a great multitasker~
Riot is still new to being around people. There's a lot that most lifeforms take for granted that they're still learning. As such, understand that they'll be learning and growing with each interaction, and may behave differently over time.
As for what they can do, pretty colors and invasive tendrils are the main things to note~ And all this learning they're doing about people, is of course going to include some... exploration~

For those who don't know me, I'm in my late 30s, AuDHD, an aspiring writer, and a big ol' geek. I'm also a builder, coder, and tailor for the MUSH! The main things I work on are the website and webclient, so I'm the person to go to if you have any issues with either of those (though ideally you should put them in the bug-report forum on the Discord server).
As a MUSH player, I tend to lean towards more involved character development and ongoing storylines. My characters pretty much always have something going on beneath the surface, and I *love* when people pick up on the hints I drop and dig into things~ This does mean my focus is less on kinky scenes, but I do plenty of those, too! I just tend to prefer scenes with people who have been getting involved with my characters beyond what those characters can do kink-wise.
On domming vs subbing: I'm generally more willing to dom new people than sub at this point, mainly because I have too much love and pride invested in my characters to subject them to things I would otherwise enjoy. I need to know that my *character* would be okay with it before I can let myself put them in that position, even with CNC things. This means I generally only sub on specific characters, in specific situations, and/or to people I already know fairly well, and even then I have to vibe with the dom's gimmick. It all comes down to feelings about individual situations in the end, sooo... ask? Worst I'll tell you is "no thanks" <3
When it comes to OOC hypnosis, I'm even more reserved: I'll tease plenty, and sometimes it's fun to act subby, but these days I don't really engage with it unless it's an established dynamic or a particularly close friend. This goes for domming *or* subbing. I'm here for the RP, so let's try to keep things in-character, 'kay~? ^_^
