Description: With her dark skin and tall, curvy body framed by long, voluminous, almost cloud-like pale blonde hair, Andromeda cuts quite a figure. Between that, her cute round face, her constantly cheery smile, and the light, bouncy voice she speaks with, many could be forgiven for thinking she's some kind of gyaru bimbo. Those people miss the intelligence hiding behind her big, bright eyes, surrounded as they are by long, lush lashes and pretty makeup. Hearts often shine in those eyes as well, reflections of the light around her, and more seem to swirl in her hair... whatever the nature of the power she possesses, it's easy to guess at its theme.
Lately, the scent of honey and creamy almonds comes off of her, subtle enough not to be overwhelming while still being noticeable: the smell of snowdrops.

Extended Description/Backstory: Something about Andromeda definitely feels off. The way she speaks, the feeling of authority she exudes, even the way cats seem especially drawn to and comfortable around her... whatever those signs point to, she doesn't seem keen on sharing. For someone who tries to help people open up, she's surprisingly closed off.
But sometimes, lately, she's been talking more of her past... and her home. It seems Andi grew up in a place of adventure, excitement, scandal, and seduction... not the place most would expect a gentle, cheery therapist to come from, by the sound of it.

Andromeda sighed, turning the object in her hands over again.

"I need to tell them... I *need* to!"

She'd been mumbling to herself ever since retiring to her room for the evening. A habit she had whenever she was stressed: the verbal processing helped her sort things.

"I should've told at least *some* of them long before now..." Her voice dropped even lower, taking on a bitter sound. "...coward."

She groaned and flopped sideways, gently hugging what she was holding to her chest. That wasn't a good way to think! *Yes*, she'd been afraid, and that had held her back from being as honest with people as she wished to be. But self-deprecating over it wasn't the right response, especially after it was already done! No, the *right* response was...

"...I just need to tell them."

The worst part was, *not* telling them was actively sabotaging herself, anyway. She wanted closeness, she wanted friends, she wanted *love*, but here she was hiding her true self from everyone. It wasn't right. It wouldn't *work*, either! People were finally starting to see through her, and she didn't need some (adorable) mage spreading potential rumors before the people closest to her could hear it from the source...

"...I *have* to tell them..." She held the feather up in front of her, twisting it in her fingers to make it spin. "...starting with her, I think~ If I'm to be hers, and she's to be mine, then she should see *all* of who I am~"

In case it wasn't abundantly clear, there's more to Andi than seems at first glance. Engage with her, pick up on the cues, dig when you feel you can, and you might find out what it is... or you might end up a lovesick puppy at her beck and call~ Or both!

Also: she's *going* to psychoanalyze people. It's what she does. So when this happens please note that I, in fact, do *not* have a psychology degree and am largely talking out my ass ^_^;

Finally, regarding subbing, Andromeda's got a lot of history that makes her extremely resistant to the idea of being under another's power. Right now, that means she simply refuses to, and she has the means to avoid getting taken against her will. As she develops and interacts, this may change. For now though, assume she'll always be in a dominant role, if there's one to be in during a scene~

At this point, Andi's flaunted enough abilities for me to list some of the more notable ones here~
- Command: Always a single spoken word, imbued with magic that makes it into a brief but intense compulsion. Whatever the victim does is usually going to be based on the context and their own interpretation of the word as a command (As an example, a "kiss" would be aimed wherever they'd first assume, which could be the cheek for some or the lips for others). Won't work on those immune to magic charms, but those who aren't and try to resist will find it's *very* potent~
- Mass Charm: Infused into her very voice whenever she chooses, filling those she targets with trust, familiarity, and infatuation for her. Obviously won't work on those immune to magic charms, but those who aren't immune and try to resist will find it's *very* potent~
- Conjuration: Formed out of either metal or silk, most of her creations are temporary, dissolving into motes of fading light after some amount of time. They can also last until a specific trigger.
- True Sight: Allows her to see things that are invisible, pierce illusions and magical concealments, and view a silhouette of a temporarily transformed/polymorphed creature's true form. While this *has* been presented as active (represented by her eyes glowing), that's mostly because she's had it toggled off most of the time: she's been leaving it on more lately. Feel free to share anything she might notice, if you'd like~
- Lie Detection: One of her most effective tools in therapy :3 Andi always knows when she hears someone tell a lie. Being mistaken doesn't count, but lying to *yourself* does~ (Poor tsunderes...) This doesn't tell her the actual *truth*, of course, just that what was said was a lie. I encourage people to make note of any particularly fun or important ones their characters might speak~
- Defenses: Nah, I'm not telling you what they *are* >w> Y'all can figure these out when interacting~ But I will let you know that she has *a lot*...

These are the ones people will be most likely to interact with, but she has a lot more~ Full disclosure: Andi is probably the second most powerful character on my list right now. That said, the point of that power is 1) to be interesting as it ties into her backstory and who she is, and 2) to be fun to play with~ I'm not interested in dick measuring contests.

For those who don't know me, I'm in my late 30s, AuDHD, an aspiring writer, and a big ol' geek. I'm also a builder, coder, and tailor for the MUSH! The main things I work on are the website and webclient, so I'm the person to go to if you have any issues with either of those (though ideally you should put them in the bug-report forum on the Discord server).

As a MUSH player, I tend to lean towards more involved character development and ongoing storylines. My characters pretty much always have something going on beneath the surface, and I *love* when people pick up on the hints I drop and dig into things~ This does mean my focus is less on kinky scenes, but I do plenty of those, too! I just tend to prefer scenes with people who have been getting involved with my characters beyond what those characters can do kink-wise.

On domming vs subbing: I'm generally more willing to dom new people than sub at this point, mainly because I have too much love and pride invested in my characters to subject them to things I would otherwise enjoy. I need to know that my *character* would be okay with it before I can let myself put them in that position, even with CNC things. This means I generally only sub on specific characters, in specific situations, and/or to people I already know fairly well, and even then I have to vibe with the dom's gimmick. It all comes down to feelings about individual situations in the end, sooo... ask? Worst I'll tell you is "no thanks" <3

When it comes to OOC hypnosis, I'm even more reserved: I'll tease plenty, and sometimes it's fun to act subby, but these days I don't really engage with it unless it's an established dynamic or a particularly close friend. This goes for domming *or* subbing. I'm here for the RP, so let's try to keep things in-character, 'kay~? ^_^
